FRIENDS OF ANAHUAC REFUGE
It is with great sadness that we must announce that Travis Lovelace passed away on the morning of January 27, 2021. Travis is a former present of the Friends of Anahuac Refuge and a long time volunteer for the Refuge. Travis is pictured here with his wife Kay Lovelace, also a volunteer and past board members for the Friends of Anahuac Refuge. Travis' daughter Angela York is also the past secretary for the Friends of Anahuac Refuge. Please include Travis and his family in your thoughts and prayers. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Friends of Anahuac Refuge (FOAR) for Prairie Education on the Anahuac Refuge. One of Travis' passions was restoration of native prairies. Donations from his memorial funds will be used for Prairie Education and a demonstration prairie in the Anahuac NWR Butterfly Garden. His family would appreciate your donation in remembrance of Travis by supporting his passion.
