The Audubon Christmas Bird Count will be held on Anahuac NWR on Thursday, December 22nd. Volunteers are needed to help count and identify birds.  Newcomers are welcome to join!  The volunteer compilers would very much like you to contact them in advance so that the best possible assignments can be made.  Here is an excerpt from a compiler:
