Anahuac National Wildlife will host 2 public hunt meetings to provide information and a chance for waterfowl hunters to ask any questions about the recent changes in regulations. FAMILY FISHING DAY

FOAR and Anahuac NWR are hosting the annual Family Fishing Day on the refuge. Bring the family out for fishing, crabbing, crafts, games, and prizes. Refuge staff and volunteers will be on hand to help folks new to fishing and answer questions about it and the refuge. The event is FREE and open to the public.
NO FISHING LICENSE REQUIRED FOR EVENT ATTENDEES ONLY!

The Friends sponsor the event by providing additional volunteers for activity booths, prizes, and providing snacks and drinks for sale. If you are interested in volunteering at the event, contact refuge Volunteer Coordinator Stephanie Martinez.
